Dayal Nishan Kaur (Fiona Kaminski) discovered Kundalini Yoga several years ago when going through some of the hardest challenges life can bring, including marriage breakdown, separation from her son due to new shared parenting arrangements, and working full time as a social worker. She had tried other forms of yoga several times throughout her adult life, however found it very difficult and uncomfortable to hold the postures so never committed to ongoing attendance at these classes.
Her experience of Kundalini yoga was different from the beginning. She found that the exercises were achievable, and the results amazing. Kundalini yoga brought her through a challenging time in her life, and her daily practice has continued to assist in managing the emotional challenges of vicarious trauma experienced in her role as a social worker with children in foster care. She now aims to share this amazing yogic technology with others so that they too can benefit from the practice.
Prior to working in the community services sector, Dayal was a high school teacher, adult educator, feng shui consultant, colour psychologist, and public relations professional. Having had an interest in finding her life purpose and raising consciousness her entire life, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her classes, as well as an intense passion to share the wonderful practice of Kundalini Yoga.
Her qualifications include:
Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Kundalini Research Institute
Level 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Modules: Conscious Communication, Stress and Vitality
